REDUCE YOUR MERCHANT PROCESSING FEES!

Incom has THE most unique pricing structure in the industry—A FLAT RATE PRICING MODEL!

CADA’s endorsed provider of merchant processing solutions has analyzed merchant banking agreements for 53 dealer members since March, 2010.  In every case, Incom Direct has uncovered markups in existing agreements and shown estimated total annual savings of $131,048.28 for CADA members!

Competitors in the merchant processing industry apply a percentage mark-up to your transactions—meaning higher-cost transactions provide them more revenue, even though they do not cost these intermediaries any more.  Think of the early cell phone days when everyone paid usage fees, but then better competition finally resulted in flat monthly rates. Incom’s founder was a merchant and started Incom to change this industry standard to better serve retail businesses like automotive dealerships.

Actual Examples:
When Incom Direct eliminated the usual transaction-based mark up over Interchange and replaced it with a flat monthly fee*:

  • an Audi™ and Volkswagen™ member moved to a $169.95 monthly flat fee:
    • direct result =  19.26% reduction in fees & estimated annual savings of $10,630.00
  • a Chrysler™ and Dodge™ member moved to a $99.95 monthly flat fee:
    • direct result =  12.52% reduction in fees and estimated annual savings of $4,900.00
  • a Ford™ Service Center moved to a $39.95 monthly flat fee:
    • direct result =  15.47% reduction in fees and estimated annual savings of $1,485.00

*Monthly fees are determined by dealership volume and associated risks

SOCIAL MEDIA: LEGAL ISSUES
By Michael Dommermuth, McGloin, Davenport, Severson & Snow, P.C.

The commercial potential of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube is well known.  For example, Facebook currently has over 500,000,000 active users, approximately thirty percent of which are located in the United States.  Fifty percent of those active users login to Facebook each day.  Facebook also estimates that people spend 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook.  Clearly social media sites provide a link to customers that should not be ignored.  As the reach of social media continues to expand, new car dealers across the country are incorporating a social media presence into their marketing efforts. **There are a number of legal issues motor vehicle Colorado dealers should consider when using social media:

  • Postings on social media are subject to state advertising regulations
  • When using photos or videos of customers, authorization should be obtained
  • Dealers should adopt appropriate employee policies, as the dealer can be held responsible

McGloin, Davenport, Severson & Snow, P.C. provides full service legal representation to motor vehicle dealers throughout Colorado.  More information on the firm can be found at www.mdsslaw.com

WEBINAR: HOW THE "BEST-OF-THE-BEST" PARTS ADVISORS GET IT DONE EVERY DAY

Habits of highly effective Parts Advisors – What makes them great!

It may seem like a relatively minor role in the operation of a profitable dealership; however the role of the Parts Advisor is a very important cog in the creation of an effective and profitable process in fixed operations.

When they perform with great efficiency they go almost unnoticed, however, when they are not doing their jobs, the complaints are many.  Join us on February 24th as we explore the habits of highly effective Parts Advisors – What makes them great at their jobs and a valuable asset to your dealership.

Richard Owen of ROI Consulting, Inc. will dissect the position of Parts Advisor and outline for all why this position is important and how the very “best of the best” go about their daily tasks.  This webinar is an eye-opener for your current Advisors, as well as an excellent “new hire” training and orientation session.

WEBINAR: HOW TOP-LEVEL MANAGERS CAN EFFECTIVELY LEAD SERVICE & PARTS OPERATIONS

How a General Manager or Controller can effectively lead, monitor and manage fixed operations and make these departments more profitable!

Few general managers work their way up the ladder in a dealership via fixed operations.  The same is true for most dealers and controllers, however, your status as top level management within your dealership calls on you to be effective in helping fixed operations function at optimum levels. Leading Service and Parts takes a new set of skills and an understanding of a business model that is very different.

Join Jeff Sacks as he defines what specific things you need to look for in this new-to-you role.  He will tell you what questions to ask and what steps you should take to get your arms comfortably and authoritatively around the fixed operations business unit.  Spend this time with Jeff and get energized on the simple things that you can do to become an effective leader while moving the parts and service departments to that next level of performance.
