JULY SALES TAX CHANGES & VENDOR ALLOWANCE CHANGE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011
The Department of Revenue, Tax Division has posted information regarding July 1st, 2011 sales/use tax changes:

At the time of this article, the only change listed is that Salida has eliminated its vendor fee (referred to as a “service fee” on the state page). It was previously 3 1/3%.
The state vendor allowance has been partially restored to 2.22%. For timely returns filed after July 1, 2011, the 2.22% can be deducted. Note, this vendor fee allowance applies to all of the following:
- States sales tax
- RTD taxes
- Football District
- Science & Cultural District
