2012 DEPT. OF REVENUE BUSINESS TAX SYMPOSIUM — HANDOUTS / PRESENTATIONS AVAILABLE

The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) offered an all-day Business Tax Symposium in Denver on July 6th.  For those who were unable to attend, the presentations / handouts are available online.

Representatives from various home-rule cities and the state provided information surrounding tax laws applicable to their jurisdictions. Even if you are not physically located in these jurisdictions, you may be establishing a nexus, or business presence in these jurisdictions, which means that you may be required to collect the local taxes on sales transactions.  Over 250 businesses in Colorado attended the symposium.
