Group1/Pitney Bowes has announced upcoming changes to their tax lookup database—alert below. As a reminder, there are currently two state-certified sources of tax rate data by address—the Group1/Pitney Bowes solution is available at no charge. Click here for more information from the state on these certified providers, as well as the hold harmless provision that applies. Dealers should ensure that sales/use tax rate lookups are done through a certified provider and that documentation is retained in the deal jacket.
